I have already made a presentation pretty much. Maybe you came directly here or you may have seen the rest of my artist page. Then you know that music is a big part of my life and you can read my story there if you're interested. I have always liked to paint and draw. My paternal grandmother was artistic and she painted in oil.

My dad was good at drawing as well so I have probably inherited that talent from my dad's side.

 

When I lived in Sweden and when I was younger I took classes in oil painting and even water color and croquis which means you draw a live model. I found Mixed Media a couple of years ago and totally fell in love. I looked at tutorials on Youtube and I was also very inspired by a Swedish friend Sofia Rhedin and I loved the very free and unique style that she had developed.

 

I'm starting my third class with Sofia this spring. To be connected with her and the creative group of women that participate really keeps me going. Very inspiring and you get instant feedback which to me is very valuable and makes me want to do more and better. Since I started in the beginning of Covid in 2020 I have probably done close to 300 pictures.
