Hi dear friends! Hope you're all doing great. I visited Sweden this last summer and performed at 5 different places. No TV this time but I did my live streaming which I have continued to do from home via Facebook for about a year now. I also put some of the streams on Youtube for all to see. It's a simple format where I share from both my life with older songs that people love to hear and I mix that with our new music.

Here's a live interview with Sam Valenti, a very sweet young man that are studying at ASU, (Arizona State University) to become a journalist and commentator within the arena of sports. He found Lena through his love for ABBA and he seemed to know pretty much everything about her music and her career. The interview was made in Encanto Park downtown Phoenix on January 28.2023

Lena is a recording artist and performer and her latest CD is a mix of Americana style country and some songs with a little more swing, almost rocka-billy. The CD was released in June 2022 and the title is "Winding Road" . 7 songs all written by Lena and her husband Tobe, except for "Wayfaring Stranger", a well known song from 1816. Lena has illustrated the cover and the CD also has a little booklet with the lyrics and Lena's pictures. All the songs have a message of hope and faith. One of the songs is in Swedish and it was first released digitally in 2019. The title translated is "The Ancient Path". Inspiration for this song comes from Jeremiah 6:16 where it talks about the crossroads and how we are to pick the good path and walk in it. Jesus says: "I am the Way, the Truth and Life" so that's the Way it's talking about. The song describes all the evil in the world today and how the good is being broken down. Lena follows what's happening in her home country Sweden. What used to be a very idyllic, peaceful place is now filled with violence, shootings, riots etc. See the official Music video under Videos. Lena Andersson moved to the United States in 2001 when she married her husband Tobe. The first 10 years they lived in California and moved to Phoenix, Arizona 2011. Or rather Peoria which is the name of their little city in North Metro Phoenix. In 2015 Lena released a new CD, "Open Your Heart". It was her first release since the early 80's. She writes all material together with her husband who is also the producer. They also released a Christmas-EP in 2019 . A mix of their own material and some well known standards. More Christmas songs will be added.

Lena became a Christian in 1985 after she through the Holy Spirit had an encounter with Jesus on a beach in Spain. Actually on the island of Mallorca. Her life was completely transformed and she now gets her inspiration from the Bible and her Christian faith.

Arizona September 2026

Lena went to Sweden this year as well. She had some engagements in southern Sweden at both the West- and the East Coast.

She stayed only one month this time. Lena is still doing her live-streams from home and she did some from Sweden as well. Her streams have been growing and more and more people are following her and are watching every time. She has had up till 89 000 at one particular occasion and 82 000 and 22 000 have been watching on some others. Tuesdays and Fridays at noon Arizona time every week (21.00 Sweden-time, 20.00 when winter time starts). She is doing songs from her old repertoire upon request mixed up with her newer music. In the summer of 2022 Lena spent 2 months in Sweden. She did several interviews for different newspapers, radio-interviews and she also performed in Christian TV both in June and July. Here are some pictures from the summer. Lena also met Stany Van Wymeersch that has written several ABBA books and has given Lena 10 pages in his latest book about ABBA.
